Welcome to Adoption Choice, Inc.Adoption Choice, Inc. is a non profit adoption agency based in the state of Wisconsin founded in 1986. The directors and staff have over 30 years combined experience in the field of adoption. Each of our adoption workers providing home studies and birth parent work hold a masters degree in social work or a related field. Their extensive experience in domestic and international adoption provides adoptive parents and birthmothers with the an individualized experience. Adoption Choice, Inc. believes every child deserves to have a life of opportunity with an adoptive family offering unconditional love and support. In addition to domestic adoption, the staff of Adoption Choice, Inc. is available to assist with home studies and post placement services needed for international adoptions. At the current time, Adoption Choice, Inc. does not have any international programs of its own, as a supervised and/or exempt provider agency, personnel may provide adoption services in convention adoption cases (see list of international placing agencies Adoption Choice, Inc. currently has agreements with under Programs). Adoption Choice offers a full range of adoption services including options counseling for expectant birth parents, domestic and international home studies, stepparent and relative screenings, post placement services, as welll as independent and out-of-state adoptions. ADOPTION CHOICE, INC. PARTNERSHIPS Kissito Healthcare International Adoption Choice Inc. is extremely fortunate to have recently partnered with Kissito Healthcare International (KHI) in Uganda. With Kissito’s ongoing guidance and generosity, our Milwaukee office, Adoption Choice, Inc. will be able to open a baby’s home in the Bugobero village in the Manafwa District in 2012. Kissito Healthcare International serves the world’s most vulnerable people with low-cost, high impact healthcare solutions. KHI focuses heavily on maternal and child health. From 20-30 patients seeking care per day less than a year ago, KHI’s Bugobero Health Center is now seeing anywhere from 300-400 patients per day. Even more impressive, Kissito is improving health care delivery systems in Ethiopia as well as Uganda. For more information on this amazing organization please visit: www.kissitointernational.org Community Adoption Center In 2009, Community Adoption Center (CAC) was approached by the then Directors of Adoption Choice, Inc. (ACI) looking for opportunities to collaborate. Both CAC and ACI had been well respected licensed adoption agencies in the state of Wisconsin for over 25 years with experienced and knowledgeable staff. Combining resources and staff only made sense. Therefore, in January of 2010 a partnership between the two agencies was developed and continues to flourish. This collaboration allows families and expectant parents to meet with agency staff at the Green Bay, Madison or Milwaukee offices whichever is most convenient; decreased travel costs for families; allows families who are interested in agency infant adoption to be placed in the parent profile listings at each location to maximize the number of birthparents who view their profiles; less experienced social workers and counselors are able to be mentored by those with more experience; and finally combined with contracted social workers in the Central area of the state our agencies together truly cover the entire state of Wisconsin. www.communityadoptioncenter.com MyAdoptionAdvisor.com Adoption Choice, Inc. has recently partnered with Hal Kaufman at MyAdoptionAdvisor.com in regards to educational resources for prospective adoptive families.
